Justice sought for 20 victims of van accident

KARACHI:

An advocate of the High Court, Saeed Ahmed Mir Jatt has filed a petition in the court of the First Civil Judge to get justice for the Sehwan incident victims.

In the filed petition, no confidence was shown in the FIR registered at the Sehwan police station and nine officers of four departments including NHA, Motorway, Irrigation and District Administration have been held responsible. In the petition, NHA officers including director maintenance, Abdul Qadoos Sheikh; deputy director maintenance, Zulfiqar Sheikh; assistant director, Ikhlaq Haider Shah; inspector, Abid Hussain; Motorway inspectors Atif Shahzad and Sajid Shah; irrigation department’s executive engineer, Mahesh Kumar; deputy commissioner Jamshoro, Fariduddin Mustafa and assistant commissioner Sehwan, Iqbal Hussain Jandan have been named.
