LAHORE:

A police constable allegedly tortured his wife and brother-in-law over a domestic dispute in Naseerabad.

Constable Kashif Raza, posted at Firdous Chowki Gulberg, went to his in-laws’ house with three accomplices in plainclothes.

His wife had left him and returned to her parents’ house, frustrated over alleged domestic violence. Raza married her several years ago and the couple had a son.

On Sunday, when his wife refused to reconcile, Raza allegedly started torturing her.

When her family intervened, he also subjected his brother-in-law Waqas to torture and took his four-year-old son with him. The suspect had been living in quarters near Walton Road.
