PSC announces exam result for inspector, sub-inspector posts

Commission received 379 applications for the post of inspector while 306 applications for the post of sub-inspector

PESHAWAR:

Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Public Service Commission has announced the result of Competitive Examination (written portion) under fast track promotion quota for the posts of inspectors (BS-16) and sub-inspectors (BS-14).

The examination was held from August 1 to August 11.

A total of 44 candidates for 50 posts of inspector had appeared in the written examination in which 15 candidates have been declared successful. According to the results announced by K-P PSC , the candidates who have been declared successful are Afsan, Buner, Faisal Hafeez, Haripur, Humayun Khan, Swabi, Liaqat Shah, Mardan, Mehtab Nazir, Abbottabad, Muhammad Alam, Nowshera, Muhammad Ashfaq, Charsadda, Muhammad Ikramullah, Dir Lower, Salman Arshid Dir Upper, Sardar Tahir Saleem, Abbottabad, Usman Munir, Shangla, Wajid Hussain, Abbottabad, Zarshad Ali, Dir Upper, Zeeshan Ahmad, Hangu, and Nadeem Ahmad Turk of Gadoon Swabi.

However, the result of two passed candidates has been kept pending till final decision of their writ petitions by the Peshawar High Court regarding their eligibility.

Likewise for 65 advertised posts of sub-inspector, no candidate qualified the written part of examination as per prescribed syllabus.

The DMCs of failed candidates (excluding court cases) shall be available on the website of commission (www.kppsc.gov.pk).

It is worth mentioning here that the commission had received 379 applications for the post of inspector while 306 applications for the post of sub-inspector.
