The Cabinet Standing Committee on Law and Order (SCCLO) directed that the public should face minimum problems with traffic flow during the ongoing long march.
The SCCLO meeting was held at the Civil Secretariat on Saturday, chaired by Provincial Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, Environment Protection and Cooperatives Mohammad Basharat Raja. Chief Secretary Punjab Abdullah Khan Sumbal and other senior officials also participated in the meeting.
The Cabinet Committee issued instructions after a performing detailed review of security arrangements for the long march of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf. The SCCLO directed that all petrol pumps located along the route of the march would be shut down as a security measure.
