Women entrepreneurs’ festival held

Over 300 women participated, while 40 of them exhibited their products

The Community Support Concern (CSC) organized the Women Workers’ Product Promotion festival, an annual event organised in Bado Pulli.

This festival helps women entrepreneurs improve market access and develop networks with buyers and traders. These entrepreneurs developed their skills under the skill enhancement training program conducted by CSC.

Over 300 women participated in the program, while 40 of them exhibited their products at the festival. These women belonged to the deprived rural areas of Tehsil Ferozewala and Sharqpur. Social and political worker Chaudhry Waseem Anjum inaugurated the ceremony and appreciated the CSC’s efforts to improve women’s socio economic status in society.

Executive Director Shaista said that the CSC was focused on sustainable development, social justice and peace.
