After multiple delays, the highly anticipated films Zarrar and Tich Button are to finally release on November 25th. However, the two films of different genres will now clash at the box office for revenues against one another.

On Monday, Shaan Shahid, the director and actor in Zarrar, took to his Twitter to announce the film’s release. It was previously delayed in respect to the recent floods. “Press conference today. Launching our dream project Zarrar in November,  InshaAllah. The wait is finally over,” he wrote with the date, “ 25.11.2022.”

Aside from the hard-hitting action in the spy-thriller, Zarrar’s long-dropped trailer also unveiled it to include a love story that involves Shaan and Kiran Malik’s characters. The director had previously revealed that Zarrar is based on true events.

The makers of Farhan Saeed, Sonya Hussyn, Iman Aly and Feroze Khan's upcoming film, Tich Button, previously set to release on November 11, also announced the new release date amid multiple controversies last week.

"The release date of our upcoming film, Tich Button, has been moved and the film will now be released in cinemas on November 25," a statement read from the makers of the film on Instagram.

From abuse allegations against Feroze by his wife to pending payment notices by Sonya, the romantic comedy lurked in danger close to its initial release date. Updates on the controversies surrounding the film are that Feroze 'vehemently' denied all accusations. 'I, Feroze Khan, vehemently deny any and all baseless, malicious and untruthful allegations which have been levelled against me and are circulating on the social media rumour mill," he shared in an Instagram story. "These allegations have no basis in truth or reality."

Urwa Hocane, the producer of Tich Button, also responded to Sonya’s legal claims. “I was unaware that Sonya had sent any notice. I mean I am just a call away, so why not discuss it in person? We have been working together for quite some time, so I believe speaking to each other and figuring things out should have been done. I am pretty sure there is some misunderstanding."
