District Municipal Corporation (DMC) East Administrator Rahmatullah Sheikh said that the health insurance cards will be issued to the DMC employees after which the employees and their families will be able to get health treatment facilities in the leading hospitals of the city.
He expressed these views while signing the agreement regarding health insurance cards with Municipal Commissioner Faheem Khan and Senior Executive Engineer Imtiaz Bhutto.
He further said that the health of the employees is a basic need, which is why an agreement on health insurance has been made.
He said that efforts have been made to resolve the legitimate problems of the employees along with the provision of municipal services to the residents of the District East. He said that DMC is trying to resolve the matter in a phased manner.
Speaking on the occasion, Municipal Commissioner DMC East Faheem Khan said that the health of the employees plays an important role in the performance of the institution.
He said employees and their families will not be worried about the finances for the treatments.
