LGH introduces appointment helpline

LAHORE:

Postgraduate Medical Institute (PGMI) Principal Prof. Dr Muhammad Al-freed Zafar said that special steps were being taken by Lahore General Hospital (LGH) to promote the slogan of "Health for All.” A new Appointment Helpline for ophthalmology and gynecology was introduced for patients to avoid long waiting queues.

He added that this helpline was launched to provide free medical examinations and take appointments from consultants in the aforementioned department. In this regard, apart from allocating two landline numbers a Skype ID was also allocated for patients who cannot call the above numbers.

Prof. Al-freed Zafar maintained that no fee will be charged from the patients who book appointments through the helplines and all facilities will be free of cost.
