Here are some of our top picks from Manish Malhotra’s star-studded night

Ace Indian designer Manish Malhotra is no stranger to hosting big bashes for special occasions like Diwali. With this time being no different, the couturier put together a grand event for the festival of love, light and happiness, bringing together the who’s who of the Bollywood industry.

From the young and pretty Shanaya Kapoor, Ananya Pandey, Kiara Advani, Shanaya Kapoor and Suhana Khan to the graceful veterans Madhuri Dixit-Nene, Kajol and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, B-town ladies put their best foot forward in trendy, traditional and glamorous ensembles. Here are some of our top picks from Malhotra’s star-studded night.

  1. Sara Ali Khan

The daughter of Bollywood heartthrob Saif Ali Khan dazzled in a sequined gold lehenga which sparkled from afar. The choli, complete with heavy gota work, featured a plunging neckline and short sleeves. The net dupatta tied the outfit together with utmost perfection. We love how Sara added a pop of colour to her look with the ruby and diamond choker. Allowing the focus to remain on the chunky piece of jewellery, she went for bare ears. Gold bangles and straightened hair completed her traditional look.

  1. Khushi Kapoor

She knows how to carry a sari so beautifully because after all she is the late legendary beauty Sridevi’s daughter. Khushi slayed in an ivory Manish Malhotra sari and polki studs. The embellished blouse comprised a sultry halter cut while yellow and white leaf work, along with sequins, completed the rest of the garb and pallu. Her curtain bangs looked effortless as did the neat bun that highlighted her chiseled cheekbones and bronze-y makeup. Wearing a million dollar smile and an intricate necklace, Khushi looked like a dream.

  1. Kiara Advani

From India to Pakistan, designers are all about shimmer, glitter and sequins of late! Hopping onto the glam trend, Kiara looked hot to trot in a gold sari. The strappy sequined top was paired with a heavily embellished sari. Shining bright like a diamond, Kiara let her hair in loose waves and opted for minimalistic earrings to finish off her festive look.

  1. Kriti Sanon

The Mimi star proved one thing for sure – lavender is her colour and we are all for it! Kriti looked beautiful in a light purple net sari that was complete with scallops, applique and sequins. While the blouse was blingy, the sari was muted and white floral motifs provided for the perfect detailing. Kriti left her hair down, went for long and dangly earrings, and a baby pink pout. Pastels and net are the best combination when it comes to the perfect sari look!
