BHAKKAR:

District Food Controller Bhakkar Javed Iqbal Waraich was killed in a road traffic accident.

According to the details, DFC Iqbal was travelling from Bhakkar to Multan for a departmental appearance on Sunday. As he neared Muzaffargarh, his car collided with a trawler, as a result of which he was severely injured. He was rushed to hospital, but succumbed to his injuries on the way.

Social and commercial personalities Haji Chaudhry Muhammad Amin, Najibullah Khan Pathan, Malik Waqar Khokhar, Muhammad Jameel Khan, Akbar Pathan, Muhammad Yousuf, Ehsanullah and Chaudhry Muhammad Faraz Amin expressed deep grief over the sudden death of DFC Iqbal, expressing that the deceased's services to the food department were commendable. His department mourned his death. The deceased always performed his national duties under the spirit of patriotism and was known to possess a very polite, amiable and friendly personality.
