KARACHI:

The Sindh High Court (SHC) ordered the government lawyer to implement the orders within 30 days on the petition regarding the occupation of footpath in Hasan Square area.

A hearing was held in front of a two-member bench headed by Justice Syed Hassan Azhar Rizvi.

The petitioner's counsel stated that fishermen have set up stalls around Hasan Square due to which citizens are facing difficulties.

The court had issued an order to remove the illegal occupation of footpaths, but the order has not been implemented.

Expressing anger at Advocate General Sindh Mehran Khan for his inaction, the court remarked, "Isn't your SHO familiar with the area?"
