A man killed his brother over a property dispute and tried to implicate his brother-in-law in the murder and also filed an FIR against him.
Two days ago, a man was found dead in a well near village Pandori within the limits of Najibullah police station. Later, the deceased was identified as Zahoor Ilahi.
The police said that Muhammad Masood killed his brother and implicated his brother-in-law named Muhammad Iqbal in the case.
A case was registered against the accused under section 302 on the plaintiff's claim.
Taking notice of the incident, DPO Haripur issued orders to SDPO Circle Khanpur and SHO Police Station Kot Najibullah and the investigation staff to trace and arrest the accused named in murder case.
SHO Police station Najibullah, Siddique Shah along with the investigation staff and other personnel under the supervision of SDPO Circle Khanpur Jamilur Rehman arrested the suspect Muhammad Iqbal, a resident of Pandori village in the case. During the cursory interrogation, Iqbal was not found involved in the murder.
