Meta's popular messaging platform Whatsapp has doubled the number of participants in a group chat from 512 to 1,024.
As spotted by WABetainfo, the new group chat limit will be implemented and available to all Android and iOS users.

The new number cap is now visible at the upper-right corner of the screen, enabling users to select more participants to be added.
The new limit will provide ease for businesses and organizations to coordinate between co-workers or clients. The update came right after WhatsApp increased group call participants to 32, along with a 'Call Link' feature to share group call information.
