Police on Friday arrested a man along with his accomplice for allegedly killing his younger brother for honour in the Ganj Mandi police limits.
Police said that the accused, Muhammad Naeem, killed his brother on suspicion of an extramarital affair with his wife. According to the police, the accused, along with his brother-in-law had killed his brother and dumped his body on the bank of Nullah Leh around a month ago.
According to the police, on September 18, Mohammad Naeem also registered a case of the kidnapping of his younger brother named Mohammad Nadeem, claiming that some unknown persons have kidnapped his brother.
The police said that on the complaint of Naeem, a case of abduction.
The investigation of the case was going on when the body of an unknown man was found near the bank of Nullah Leh.
During the investigation, the police figured out it was the body of Muhammad Nadeem, whose abduction case was registered at the Ganj Mandi police station.
