The body of a woman found at Seaview beach has been identified as the wife of Zulfiqar Bajwa, SHO Defence police station.
SHO Bajwa confirmed on Tuesday that the woman found dead near Nishan-e-Pakistan on Seaview beach was his wife. He claimed that his wife, who was suffering from psychological ailment, left home in Qayyumabad in a rickshaw on Monday morning, but did not return.
Some people spotted the woman walking into the sea on the beach. She disappeared in the gusty winds and after a few hours her body was washed ashore. Shoaib-ur-Rahman, SHO Darakhshan police station, said that police reached the spot and shifted the body to a mortuary as it could not be identified. Later after identification, heirs collected the body from the mortuary.
