Govt, Ulema finalise Eid Miladun Nabi preparations

CM Sindh said religious scholars have played a significant role in making Sindh a peaceful society

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah met with the leading religious scholars to finalise the arrangements of the 12 Rabiul Awwal processions and decided to celebrate Eid Miladun Nabi with religious fervour.

The scholars present on the occasion included Haji Hanif Tayab, Maulana Bashir Farooqi, Dr Jameel Rathore, Shehzada Rehan Amjad Naumani, Mufti Nazir Jan, Maulana Rafiu Rehman Norani, Maulana Ashraf Gormani, Sarwat Aijaz Qadri, and others.

The chief minister thanked them for promoting sectarian harmony in the province. "I am thankful to the scholars of different schools of thought for their constructive and responsible role in promoting sectarian harmony," CM said.

He added that religious scholars have played a significant role in making Sindh a peaceful society.
