The Lahore Arts Council will pay a tribute to Madam Noor Jahan, Iqbal Bano, Farida Khanum and Nayyara Noor on September 22 at the Alhamra Arts Centre.
Tarannum Naz and Sara Raza Khan will sing famous songs of the legends.
The Executive Director of the Lahore Arts Council, Muhammad Rafi Ullah, while explaining his approach towards cultural activities for the revival of quality entertainment at Alhamra, said that civilized nations always remembered their national icons and promoted cultural activities to enhance sociocultural values in their society.
Rafi Ullah called the September 22 programme a step to remember our national icons.
He said that the basic aim of holding this evening was to celebrate the legacy of Madam Noor Jahan, Iqbal Bano, Farida Khanum and Nayyara Noor at the Alhamra Arts Council.
