KARACHI:

IG Sindh Ghulam Nabi Memon has made a big humanitarian announcement. He has said that the citizen who takes any person, who is injured in a road mishap or in a firing incident, to the hospital will not be forced to be a witness in the case, but rather will be rewarded for putting efforts to save a precious life.

In this regard, written instructions have been issued to all the DIGs and SSPs.

The IG says that the citizens hesitate to take the injured people of firing and accident to the hospital due to the fear of investigation by the police. By the time the injured is transferred to the hospital through ambulance, the person succumbs to injuries.
