Call to follow Quaid-e-Azam’s discipline

Eminent lawyer M Iqbal advocate said Quaid-e-Azam had declared Urdu as the official language of the country

Punjab Arts Council organised "Quaid-e-Azam Conference" in collaboration with Daira Literary organisation on the occasion of the 74th death anniversary of the father of the nation Muhammad Ali Jinnah.

Daira Literary Organisation Chairman Dr Ghazanfar Mehdi and Punjab Arts Council Director Waqar Ahmed presided over the event.

Dr Mehdi said that if the teachings of Quaid-e-Azam were followed, Pakistan would not have been divided. By following the teachings of the founder of Pakistan, the problems and difficulties of the present day can be overcome. "Currently, Pakistan is facing uncertainty and to deal with this uncertainty, we need to follow the words of Quaid-e-Azam," he added.

Ahmed said that Quaid-e-Azam fought for Muslims on the basis of two-nation ideology. Pakistan emerged as an independent state under the leadership of the father of the nation, for which the nation pays tribute to the Quaid-e-Azam. The father of the nation's death anniversary reminds us of a great leader who gave a motto to the scared and desperate Muslims of the subcontinent.

Eminent lawyer M Iqbal advocate said that Quaid-e-Azam had declared Urdu as the official and national language of the country. The Supreme Court of Pakistan has issued instructions to all government institutions regarding the national language, he added. Ehsan Kabaria said that his father was with the Quaid-e-Azam during Pakistan Movement.
