IG deploys more personnel for flood victims’ security

IG Memon orders deployment of RRF, SRP

HYDERABAD:

Sindh Inspector General (IG) Ghulam Nabi Memon has ordered the deployment of Rapid Response Force (RRF) and Sindh Reserve Police (SRP) personnel for the security of flood victims lying vulnerably under the open sky.

Appreciating the performance of the Mirpurkhas and Hyderabad range police for providing security to Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) centres and beneficiaries, he urged the police officers to adopt a courteous attitude towards the devastated people.

During a meeting held in Hyderabad on Tuesday night, the Sindh police chief issued a directive to rebuild the damaged houses of police and those of the martyred personnel.
