Police have recovered valuables worth Rs13 million from six accused who police claimed were members of two dangerous interprovincial gangs, the Kalia and Musat gangs.

Dozens of cases have been registered in other districts' police stations against the group over 105 incidents.

DPO Ali Raza told The Express Tribune that hundreds of stolen motorcycles, jewellery, solar plates, livestock, agricultural implements, mobile phones and other items had been recovered, along with Rs200,000 in cash.

Raids were being carried out to arrest the remaining 13 accused of the group who would be taken into custody soon. Additionally, modern weapons that were used in serious incidents were recovered.

The recovered valuable items would be handed over to their owners after completing legal procedures.

As per details, Bhakkar police have apprehended members of two interprovincial gangs, Kalia and Musat, who are allegedly responsible for dozens of incidents.

In this regard, DPO Bhakkar Syed Ali Raza, held a press conference at Saddar Bhakkar police station. A team was formed to lower crime rates in Sadadr Circle on the specific orders of the District Police Officer of Bhakkar.

The team had been tasked with tracing down the accused. Two significant gangs were traced down through gathering evidence due to persistent efforts around the clock.
