LAHORE:

The University of Health Sciences (UHS) has decided to involve parents in the monitoring process of all its on-campus undergraduate programs including its BS and DPT courses.

For this purpose, parents of five students will be invited to the university every month who will be asked to evaluate the standard of education given to their children.

Parents will also be able to give their suggestions for improving the quality of education and facilities provided to their wards.

Additionally, an annual parent-teacher conference will also be organised.

This was announced by UHS Vice Chancellor Professor Ahsan Waheed Rathore while meeting students of BS and DPT programs at Jinnah Campus on Monday. He also presided over the faculty meeting.

On this occasion, Prof Ahsan Waheed Rathore directed to make the dispensary functional on the Jinnah campus. The dispensary will remain open from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Dr Hina Javed of the Family Medicine Department will be in charge of the dispensary.
