Due to the heavy rain and thunderstorms, rivers, ravines and nullahs in district Abbottabad flooded with many connecting roads destroyed in most areas and with people entrapped.

Several mud houses and their walls were reportedly damaged and collapsed in many villages of Tehsil Havelian and Abbottabad. Flood water entered dozens of homes and shops in Havelian city, resulting in the people bearing millions of rupees in damages and losses. In Abbottabad city, main Mansehra road, Murree road and PMA road, the flash floods, triggered by heavy rain, blocked dozens of vehicles and engulfed them in water.

In some areas of Abbottabad city, the flash flood water also entered houses and markets.
