IJT is organising a general convention from October 15 to October 17 at the Punjab University to attract more members

Islami Jamiat Talaba is organising a general convention from October 15 to October 17 at the Punjab University to attract more members. An IJT spokesman said on Monday that different committees had been formed to monitor arrangements for the event. He said the convention was meant to mobilise students and to persuade them to join the organisation.

He said IJT Punjab University nazim Zubair Safdar had been put in charge of the event. He said Safdar would oversee the arrangements and coordinate with committees formed for stall management, reception of guests, fund raising, media management, catering and security.

The IJT spokesman said all provincial heads of the organisation had been directed to launch mobilisation campaigns from the first week of September to ensure an impressive gathering at the convention.
