MARDAN:

Students from public and private school clinched top three positions in the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Mardan (BISEM) class 10 annual results announced on Saturday.

The top position was shared by two students, a girl from private and a boy from public school.

In his message Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Minister Education Shahram Tarakai said that public schools are taking lead in matric exam results in various boards. The minister said “I appreciate the efforts of the teaching staff and principals of the schools of Mardan and Kohat who have done a great job”. Students have secured prominent positions in the 10th-grade board examination.

He further added, “I congratulate all the toppers, and good luck to those who could not succeed. It is a proud moment for government school children to top the board”.

This shows that government schools are not behind private schools they are leading in academic results.

Academic results are good when the whole environment and ambience of a school are good, he said.
