Police said that Abdul Aziz allegedly stabbed his wife to death and injured his daughter

Police arrested a man on Saturday for allegedly killing his wife and injuring his daughter within the limits of RA Bazaar police station.

Police said that Abdul Aziz allegedly stabbed his wife to death and injured his daughter on Friday night over a family dispute and fled after committing the crime.

The police had registered a case on Friday on the complaint of the deceased woman.

SP Potohar Rana Abdul Wahab said that they arrested the suspect within the 24 hours of the murder. He directed the official concerned to ensure that the man gets an exemplary punishment.

Meanwhile, police arrested a bike lifter and recovered five stolen motorcycles from his possession.

According to a police spokesman, a team under the supervision of SHO, Westridge Police Station managed to net an accused namely Habibullah who was a bike lifter, street criminal and allegedly involved in several cases registered in different police stations.

A case has been registered against the accused.
