KARACHI:

The city's inclement weather, especially the urban flooding, has badly disrupted the schedule of trains as passenger trains departed with a delay of several hours. Passengers have to wait at Cantt and City station for hours for their trains.

Most of the trains that left Karachi a day earlier could not reach their destinations on time due to the flash floods triggered by the heavy monsoon rains in the country.

Pakistan Express was scheduled to depart for Rawalpindi at 1pm, but it left at 3pm. Karakoram Express departed for Lahore at 4:45pm instead of 3:30pm. The Lahore-bound Pak Business Express was delayed by five hours and 30 minutes as it departed at 9:30pm.

Khyber Mail left for Peshawar at midnight instead of its scheduled time of 10:15pm. The Jacobabad-bound Sukkur Express left at 2:30pm instead of its scheduled time of 11pm.
