Movie: Uncharted

With a stellar star cast that consists of Tom Holland, Mark Wahlberg, Sophia Ali, Tati Gabrielle, and Antonio Banderas, Uncharted follows the journey of Nathan Drake as he is recruited by Victor Sullivan to search for Ferdinand Magellan's lost treasure. However, the path is not smooth sailing, given that they are challenged on their journey by Santiago Moncado, who believes that the fortune is his to have. A thorough action-adventure film through and through, based on the beloved video game franchise of the same name, Uncharted is currently on Netflix, and definitely serves to be a promising and entertaining watch.

Song: Until I Found You (Stephen Sanchez)

Oh, to be in love with someone wholeheartedly and vehemently, and to have a song perfectly encapsulate that feeling in the most melodious way. Stephen Sanchez's 'Until I Found You' is a love letter to finding a path out of darkness through the power of true love. It places one's object of desire and affection at the centre, making bold claims of everlasting, fixated love that is filled with dedication, appreciation, and utter and complete devotion. A perfect song that one can dedicate to the apple of their eye, everything about 'Until I Found You' makes you want to grab your partner and slow dance the night away.

Show/Documentary: Indian Predator: The Butcher of Delhi

We were all swept up with the Burari Murders recently, with dark, gritty matter gripping audiences who became part-intrigued, part-horrified by the unfolding of events within that family. If that kept you glued to your screen, Indian Predator: The Butcher of Delhi ought to do the same. A string of dead bodies with taunting notes left outside a jail in Delhi lead to the system following the trail of a murderer who is skilled, has no fear, and wishes to openly mock the police in the process. Disturbing, riveting, engaging, and terrifying, Ayesha Sood’s true crime Netflix documentary is sure to keep you hooked.

Book: Anthro-Vision: How Anthropology Can Explain Business and Life

A fascinating read, Anthro-Vision by Gillian Tett seeks to explain the way we buy, sell, work and think. Tett, who is a Financial Times journalist and anthropology PhD, explores work and life methods that reveal the ‘hidden codes’ that define our lives. According to her, anthropology can reveal a lot about our workspace. Through this book, she seeks to explain an entirely new way to see human behaviour, which she refers to as ‘anthro-vision’. If you’re interested in anthropology, and find it interesting to question and reexamine previously explained philosophies, then this book is must-read.
