SIALKOT: A proclaimed offender was gunned down in an exchange of fire between two rival groups in Kotli Behram.
According to police officials, Muhammad Ali alias ‘Choti Bacchi’ was killed on Saturday. Police officials told reporters that the suspect escaped to the Saudi Arabia a week ago after killing three people.
He returned home to threaten the victims’ family after they had registered a case against him. Police officials say Ali was cornered outside a residential colony by his rivals in Kotli Behram and was killed in a shoot out. Locals in the area have expressed concern over the incident and have protested against lax security.
Police officials have registered a case and sent Ali’s body for an autopsy.
