A video of a Muslim man shouldering the body of a Hindu employee for his funeral has gone viral, as the community once again sets precedence of interfaith harmony amid a rising tide of hate in India.
Members of a Muslim family in Maharashtra state helped in the the preparations for Ramdev's funeral. Other members of the community soon joined hands with them.

According to residents of Sabanpura, Ramdev came to Armaan's shop some 25 years ago and was hired and made a part of the family ever since.
On Friday, when he breathed his last at the age of 75, the family and other Muslims were at the forefront providing all possible assistance.
Rizwan, another member of the family, said he had hired the educated Hindu man without asking him anything, saying the deceased handled his shop's accounts well.

The gruesome killing of a Hindu tailor on June 30 has inflamed religious tensions in India and sparked a furious response on social media, including calls for reprisal attacks against the country's Muslim minority.
Communal tensions have been high after a BJP spokesperson made blasphemous remarks during a TV debate last month.
Her comments led to violent protests in India and embroiled the country in a diplomatic row, with nearly 20 countries calling in their Indian ambassadors for an explanation.
Goodwill gestures like the one exhibited by the Maharashtra Muslims are breath of fresh air amid heightened religious tensions in the neighbouring country.
