KARACHI:

Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) Chairman Mustafa Kamal on Friday refused to accept the results of NA 240 by-election and declared the polls a total fraud which exposed the poor performance of the Election Commission of Pakistan, police and law enforcing agencies.

Chairman PSP released the data of more than 13,000 votes received by PSP along with ID card numbers and voting time. It is someone's plan not to give mandate to any party that represents Karachi.

Under such conspiracy, neither the PSP nor the MQM are being given the city's mandate. With a lead of only 65 votes, the sword has been hung over the MQM as well, he said.

Kamal vowed that he will not let the conspiracy to impose political parties with no roots in Karachi to succeed.

"Under the supervision of TLP chief Saad Rizvi, the TLP goons opened fire with automatic weapons on our main election camp. Ten PSP workers including me were injured, while Iftikhar Alam, Zeeshan, Junaid and Aqleen were in critical condition." Earlier, four bullets were fired on the car of PSP President Anis Kaim Khani.
