Sports host Erin Holland recently took to Instagram to share her honeymoon photos with her Australian beau and cricketer Ben Cutting. The couple took a trip to the Maldives to celebrate two years of marriage after being apart for the majority of it.

Erin has so far shared several loved-up photos from the trip that ensued just two days ago. In one photo, the two are posing for a mirror selfie with their luggage, all set to leave. “2 years to the day of our original wedding date, Ben & I are finally ready for our honeymoon. Packed and ready for paradise,” Erin captioned the post.

Due to Covid-19, the two had been kept apart to protect the cricketer from catching the virus. Within the constraints of the bio-bubble, Ben was unable to be around his wife and the two had to maintain distance on and off the ground.

Thus, Erin also ended up sharing her experience of being separated from her husband so soon after their wedding. “He has to be very careful because of the SOPs so we haven't really spent any time together,” she wrote. “But it's better than last year when I couldn't make it to Pakistan because of Covid-19 and Ben had to leave soon after our wedding. It was extremely hard."
She went on to conclude, “It gets very mentally taxing and very lonely. They live a very sheltered life… I really hope things get better soon.”

Thankfully, after two years of waiting to celebrate their marriage, these two heartthrobs finally get the honeymoon they deserve and we couldn't be happier!
