The deceased televangelist, Dr Aamir Liaquat Hussain, had booked a grave for himself during his lifetime on the compound of the shrine of revered Sufi saint Abdullah Shah Ghazi in the metropolis.
Dr Aamir Liaquat Hussain, who was also a popular TV host and federal lawmaker, passed away at his residence in Karachi on Thursday.

"He had booked space for five graves in the graveyard situated on the compound of the Abdullah Shah Ghazi shrine in 2007," Punnu Khan, the assistant manager and focal person for the shrine, told The Express Tribune.

Aamir's parents - mother and father - his first mother-in-law and popular naat-khawan Khurshid sahib are buried in four of the graves.
Aamir wished to be buried next to his parents in the same cemetery, according to his will.

Punnu Khan said that since the fifth grave had already been reserved for Aamir, there would be no need for permission from the Auqaf Department.
He added that the five graves are located in a small compound inside the graveyard which is named after Aamir's father, Sheikh Liaquat Hussain.
Punnu Khan said that Aamir sahib used to visit this compound often to offer prayers for those buried here.
"He was a very kind and sociable person," he recalled while talking to The Express Tribune.
Condolences pour in
The man people loved to hate received posthumous salutations after remaining under fire for months over a botched marriage.
Condolences poured in from government, media and colleagues and people from all walks of life for television host MNA Dr Amir Liaquat Hussain who died at his home on Thursday during prolonged load-shedding.
Along with various political and social personalities, the people also expressed their sorrow and grief over the sudden demise of Dr Amir Liaquat Hussain.
Former President and Pakistan People's Party Parliamentarians Chairman Asif Ali Zardari in a condolence message issued by the party secretariat said Dr Amir Liaquat's services in the field journalism and politics would always be remembered.
He prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the departed soul in eternal peace.
CM Murad Ali Shah expressing sorrow over the death of television host and MNA Dr Amir Liaquat Hussain prayed, "May Almighty Allah rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant strength to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss with patience.
" Minister for Labour and Manpower Saeed Ghani in his condolence message said late Amir Liaquat was a multifaceted personality who won hearts as TV host, religious scholar and lawmaker.
Additional IG Karachi Javed Akhtar Odho also expressed sorrow over the sudden demise of Dr Amir Liaquat Hussain and prayed for elevation of ranks.
MQM-P Minority Member Provincial Assembly Mangla Sharma while talking to media at the residence of Dr Amir Liaquat Hussain said he was very lively, used to laugh and smile, do mischief, a very good and brave person.
She maintained that he was an open- hearted person who did not know hypocrisy.
Moin Alam Karimi, who has been reciting Naat with Aamir Liaquat in Ramazan Transmissions for 15 years, said that he used to help the poor and deserving people off the record who felt ashamed to be helped in front of camera.
