Unchecked lawlessness: ‘Parliamentarians should debate Karachi situation’

KARACHI:

The worsening law and order situation in Karachi should be taken up in parliament so that a national consensus is to deal with the lawlessness, said Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif here on Saturday.

Justice can only be served when the killers of innocent people are dealt with an iron hand and punished proportionately, said Sharif while talking to reporters at Karachi airport.

Those who have massacred the citizens of Karachi are intruders, he said, adding that all political parties should unite against the killings and that the city cannot be ignored due to its significance to the country.

A Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) delegation would visit Karachi soon, meet leaders of all political parties and urge them to unite on the issue of lawlessness in the city, he said.

“Parliament must place Karachi’s situation on its agenda on a priority basis and debate on it so that a national consensus is arrived at to deal with the lawlessness in the city,” he said. While he did not respond to whether the PML-N would support deployment of army in the city, he said that the government should adopt all means to control the situation.

Think before dividing

Responding to a question on creation of new provinces, he said that his party is in favour of creating more provinces, “if they would strengthen Pakistan.” Before creating new provinces, however, it is the government’s duty to take on board the existing four provinces and review the pros and cons of distribution of water, national finance commission and other resources, he added.

I am justly claim, killers are not Pakistani, they are in fact foreigners and making activities on the indications of their masters.

Sophisticated weapons are being supplied and ways are opened leading inside karachi, they are well trained as have seen the combat with navel base army in Karachi near the past.

Our leaders in power are continuously refusing the fact, but looks coming to the reality as has seen statement of the Punjab chief minster Mian Shabaz Shahrif in which he said,Those who have massacred the citizens of Karachi are intruders, said, adding that all political parties should unite against them,

It is my personal opinion, many others are also agreed on the point that police and rangers are not enough discharge them from the land ,it need crucial power that we have in form of our military, our military is unique and strong as recognized in the whole world including the United States ,only single super power on the earth.

Differences in the views of opinion is a beauty of the democracy, i am disagree with point as expressed by Mian Sahip when he saying,While he did not respond to whether the PML-N would support deployment of army control the situation. in the city, he said that the government should adopt all means to control the situation.

Without army assistance blood situation would remained beyond control,I would like through the Express Tribune that Mian Sahip should use his influence and bring all the national leader to the negotiating table and convince them for adopting army option, that is last final and would prove crucial.
