The newly-appointed Secretary Minister for Planning, Development and Special Initiatives Syed Zafar Ali Shah on Saturday directed concerned officers to conduct studies in order to restructure and reorganise the Ministry. The direction was given during a meeting which was chaired by the Secretary Planning. The meeting was attended by all chiefs, heads of the Economic and Technical section for briefing on functions of various sections, workload, and optimum use of human resource in the Ministry. During the meeting, the secretary urged the officers to play their constructive role while sharing innovative ideas which could help in facilitating the development process of the country. Shah assured the officers of his full support in all matters including promotions, filling the vacant posts and training.
