Two women among seven abducted in Kasur

KASUR:

Seven people, including two women and three children, were abducted from different parts of Kasur district during the last 24 hours.

Police said on Friday that Naseem Haider, a resident of the Halla area informed Sarayei Mughal police that his sister Sumera, 30 and her three children, Gulshan, 12, Ali Nawaz, 10 and Ali Sufayan, 5, were home when Saleem and others allegedly entered the house by force and kidnapped all of them. In another incident, B-division police said that the accused Muhammad Ali and 15 accomplices allegedly barged into the house of Riaz, a resident of Islampura and abducted his daughter Aliza, 15.

Separately, Saddar Phoolnagar police said that Abid, a resident of Kot Subhan Singh, informed them that a worker identified as Farooq kidnapped his son, Ehtesham, 12, in addition to looting Rs65000 worth of cash and stealing his motorcycle on gunpoint.

Meanwhile, Safdar Bhatti, a resident of Sangeet Singhwala village, reported to Raja Jung police that his brother Khalid, 25, a factory worker, did not return home after his shift.
