Visual effects wizard: Laraib Atta’s most-recent blockbuster project was ‘Doctor Strange’

Attaullah Khan Esakhelvi’s daughter has previously also worked on ‘WandaVision’

After recently bagging an Oscar and a BAFTA nod for her work in Hollywood big-budget projects, visual artist Laraib Atta is showing no signs of slowing down. Laraib’s brother, Sanwal Esakhelvi, recently took to Instagram to share that his super talented sibling had done it again, this time working her magic in the recently-released Marvel chart-topper Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

Sanwal wrote on Instagram in the caption of a collage of a Multiverse of Madness poster alongside a picture of him and his sister, “This lady never stops shining! My sister again worked on a blockbuster.”

This isn’t Laraib’s first Marvel outing either. The artist, who is legendary singer Attaullah Khan Esakhelvi’s daughter, previously worked on the nine-episode series WandaVision, which gathered a total of 23 Emmy nods, including one for outstanding visual effects. She wrote in a post on Instagram, “So proud to be part of this amazing team at ILM. WandaVision was such a fun project. Congratulations to everyone for the Emmy nomination."
