Rescue 1122 to be launched on May 30

Trauma Centre and Rescue 1122 in Larkana will also commence by May 30

KARACHI:

An important meeting regarding Sindh Rescue 1122 service was held under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Sindh Dr Muhammad Sohail Rajput at the Sindh Secretariat on Thursday.

During the meeting, it was decided that the ambulance service under Rescue 1122 will be started in Karachi from May 30.

While addressing the meeting, Project Director Sindh Resilience Project said that Trauma Centre and Rescue 1122 in Larkana will also be started by May 30.

Ambulance and fire brigade stations will be set up every 50km on the Indus Highway and Motorways. He announced that ambulance, firefighting, and other emergency services will also be included in the upcoming rescue service. Administrator Karachi Murtaza Wahab said that 50 ambulances will be launched in Karachi on May 30 under Rescue 1122. He further stated Quick Response Points will be established in Karachi after every 10km to provide immediate medical emergency services.
