Chief of Pashtoonkhwa Milli Awami Party (PKMAP), Mehmood Khan Achakzai has hit out at former prime minister Imran Khan for what he called ‘ruining of all national institutions’. He expressed these views while addressing a public meeting in Pishin. “Establishment imposed Imran Khan on the country in 2018 general elections and as a result destroyed all national institutions,” Achakzai said.
The PKMAP Chairman, however, said the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) removed the government in a constitutional way. He reiterated that the party would not make any compromise over the rights of Pashtuns and other oppressed nationalities in the country. “Constitution guarantees the rights of all nationalities living in the country,” he said.
The seasoned politician demanded that Pashtuns, Balochs, Sindhis and Sarakis should be given their due rights and constitutional share in the mineral and natural resources. Achakzai said that his party was against the political role of the military. Achakzai mentioned that the party had demanded a judicial commission headed by Justice Qazi Faez Isa of the Supreme Court to probe into the murder of Senator Usman Khan Kakar.
