Terrorist killed in attack on police post

One terrorist was killed in an attack at a police post in Lakki Marwat district of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.
Police told The Express Tribune that unidentified terrorists attacked a police check post in Lakki Marwat district. The attack was repulsed after half an hour of fighting in which two constables sustained minor injuries.
"Unidentified terrorists launched a surprise attack on the Abbasa police check post last night. In a turn of events, alert police personnel were able to thwart the attack. Police personnel swiftly responded to the attack after detecting movement on night vision cameras," said a police official.
The terrorists fled after facing stiff resistance. According to police reports, one terrorist was killed whose body was later found abandoned.
