Tortured body of pregnant woman found in suitcase

The victim is around 25 years old, but nothing was recovered from her possession to help identify her

Tortured body of 25-year-old unidentified woman was found stuffed in a suitcase in Shah Latif Town police station limits. It was later found during autopsy that the victim was pregnant.

Shah Latif Town police station SHO Inspector Mumtaz Marwat said that locals called the police helpline 15 and said that unidentified men came in a car, threw the body suitcase and fled.

As soon as the locals reported the incident, police and rescue workers rushed to the spot and shifted the body to Jinnah Hospital for postmortem. SHO Marwat said when the police arrived at the scene, they found a red suitcase, which they opened and found the body of a girl inside. Signs of torture were visible on the body. The victim is around 25 years old, but nothing was recovered from her possession to help identify her. SHO further said that the police revealed that the victim was also pregnant during the postmortem.
