Minor girl goes missing from Ayub Park
A two-and-a-half-year-old girl from the Tarnol area of Islamabad went missing from Ayub Park Rawalpindi during the Eid holidays.
Morgah police have registered a kidnapping case on a complaint of the girl’s mother, Ghazala Bibi, who said that she along with her family members had gone to Ayub Park with her minor daughter Iman Fatima. However, she lost the girl as there was a huge crowd outside the gate of the park. Police registered a case and started a search for the girl with the help of CCTV videos.
Morgah Police Station House Officer Mohammad Adeel said that a case has been registered and a search for the missing girl is under way.
According to the park administration, more than 0.1 million people visited Ayub Park in Rawalpindi during the Eid holidays. More than 40 children were lost in the park, however, Rawalpindi police and park administration found the children and handed them over to their parents.

In addition, hundreds of families, children and adults from outside the twin cities also visited recreational spots in Rawalpindi and Islamabad.
The SHO Morgah said that a large number of people arrived at Ayub Park with their children during the Eid holidays. During this time, more than 40 children were separated from their parents, but police teams and the park administration found them and handed them over to their parents. However, he said, that the one two-and-a-half-year-old girl could not be traced despite all efforts.
