Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif arrived in the Saudi port city of Jeddah on Friday on the second day of his three-day visit to the kingdom after offering the Friday prayers in the Masjid-e-Nabavi (PBUH) and paying his respects at the Roza-e-Rasool (PBUH).
Governor of Makkah Khalid Bin Faisal Al Saud and Saudia Arabia's National Security Adviser Dr Musaed Al-Aiban received the prime minister and his delegation, comprising key cabinet members and parliamentarians.
During the visit, the prime minister will holds talks with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman and other officials, with particular focus on advancing economic, trade and investment ties, and creation of greater opportunities for the Pakistani workforce in Saudi Arabia.

After his arrival in Saudi Arabia on Thursday, the prime minister along with his delegation paid respects at the Roza-e-Rasool (PBUH) and offered Nawafil in Masjid-e-Nabawi (PBUH) in Madina. On the last Friday of the holy month of Ramazan, the prime minister prayed at Masjid-e-Nabavi (PBUH).
According to the official Saudi Press Agency, the prime minister was seen off at Prince Mohammad bin Abdulaziz International Airport, by Undersecretary of Madinah Region Governorate, Wahib bin Mohammed Al-Sahli, and a number of officials.
