Murad, Sanaullah visit deceased driver's home

CM assures family of the deceased that his government will continue salary of the departed soul

KARACHI:

Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah and Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah visited the home of Khalid Nawaz, the van driver killed suicide blast at Karachi University to offer condolence and announced compensation of Rs2 million, Rs1 million each from provincial and federal governments for the affected family.

The chief minister assured the family of the deceased that his government would continue the salary of late Khalid Nawaz and also bear educational expenditures of the deceased's children.

The family of Khalid Nawaz has requested the Sindh government to complete the body identification and other legal formalities at an earliest so that they could give him a janaza prayer and a burial.
