KARACHI:

M u t t a h i d a Q a u m i Movement-Pakistan will support Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf in the street and the House if Imran Khan can prove that a conspiracy was hatched against the country, MQM-P Convener Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui said.

However, Imran would first have to prove that he did not come to power in the first place through a conspiracy, he said at Iftar dinner organised by MQMPakistan at Federal Capital Ground, Liaquatabad Town.

Siddiqui, Deputy Convener Kanwar Naveed Jamil, Members Coordinating Committee, Heads of Central Departments, Central Organizing Committee, Town and UC officials and workers were present on the occasion.

"Was the formation of your government in 2018 not a foreign conspiracy, can you prove it before a judicial commission," Siddiqui said in reply of PTI leaders rhetoric at Saturday night jalsa. The way our mandate was stolen reeks of conspiracy, he said adding that however, if a conspiracy was hatched against the country, it should be proved.

He said that MQM-P would support PTI in the streets and House. Regarding the agreements with PPP and PML-N Siddiqui said, "once again, we have made provincial and federal governments to recognize urban rights." Every right of urban areas has been sealed by agreement with these parties. "Opposition seats and roads are still waiting for us," he said. "Roads are more important than the House for our position."
