A video of hunters shooting two rare breed deer has gone viral on the social media drawing a strong backlash from the netizens.

The two rare Chinkara deer were killed by a man identified as Intisar Uddin, a Karachi resident.

The wildlife department said that an inquiry committee will record the statement of the shooter and send the video for forensic test.

According to Sindh Wildlife Conservator Javed Mehr, they will determine where the incident took place. Wildlife experts believe that the video is not of Sindh National Kirthar Park, as black mountain range in the background is not located in Sindh.

The team appointed for the purpose will investigate in the light of video evidence and record the statement of hunter Intisaruddin.

Three Wildlife Department officers have been deployed for the inquiry, and a threemember committee including Ashfaque Ali Memon, game officer, Naeem Muhammad Khan, wildlife inspector and Muhammad Azeem Kachelo, wildlife inspector will determine the location of the hunt
