Plaintiff killed for pursuing litigation

Victims were irrigating fields at time of incident

One youth was killed and three others were seriously injured after they were shot due to an ongoing dispute. According to details, Ali Mustafa alias Koko, Abdul Razzaq alias Bodi, Mohammad Ilyas alias Meraj, Mohammad Mazhar and others alleged opened fire on Afzal Ali, Mohammad Abbas, Mohammad Sajjad and Ilyas in Chak 136 GB for filing a case in court.

The victims were irrigating fields at the time of the incident. Afzal succumbed to his wounds at the scene, while Rescue 1122 personnel rushed the three injured to Allied Hospital. Police reached the spot and returned the body of the deceased to his family after a postmortem. They then conducted raids to arrest the accused. According to police, the mother of the accused, Mohammad Mazhar, had registered a case 405/20 crime 511-376-411-394 against the injured victims in Tarkhani police station.
