CIA recovers 27 vehicles, Rs600,000 from possession of accused

Lyallpur Town CIA arrested 14 accused of five gangs who were alleged to have been involved in stealing motorcycles.

CIA recovered 27 motorcycles and Rs600,000 from the possession of the accused.

They launched further investigations into the matter.

According to police sources, on the special instructions of the CPO, Ghulam Muhammad Mubashir Mekan, and the DSP of CIA, Mudassar Bhatti, who has the additional charge of the SP of CIA, the in charge of CIA, Sub-Inspector Siddique Cheema, along with ASIs Wajid Kachchi and Pervez Latif, raided various districts and arrested 14 accused of five gangs allegedly involved in stealing motorcycles.

Among the alleged gangsters who had been arrested were ringleader Aurangzeb and his accomplices, Adnan, ringleader of Shehzad Hamza Ali Adnan alias Mochha gang and his accomplices, gang leader Pervez and his accomplices and others.

Twenty-seven motorcycles allegedly stolen at gunpoint were recovered from their possession, and they were being interrogated.

According to ASI Siddique Cheema, the accused had allegedly told the police about dozens of incidents of theft of motorcycles from the areas of Jhang Bazaar Police Station, People’s Colony Police Station, Samanabad Police Station and D-Type Colony Police Station.

City Police Officer Ghulam Mubashir Mekan announced cash prizes and certificates for Lyallpur CIA in charge and his team for arresting 27 suspects of five gangs in 15 days.
