MWMC to digitise services

Details of expenditures will be uploaded on company website

Multan Waste Management Company (MWMC) CEO Muhammad Farooq Dogar stated on Saturday that digitalisation of the company has been started to bring transparency.

The MWMC will use a newly developed website to digitise its services. All expenditures will be uploaded on the company’s website on a daily basis.

CEO Dogar said that funds were being utilised transparently and after the development of the website, every citizen would be able to check the company’s expenses to maintain accountability.

A committee will the review the record of purchase and consumption of oil filters and lubricants and will submit its report within seven days, he concluded. Later, the CEO visited the workshop of a private transport company and got information about its working.

On the occasion, Dogar said that a complete audit of the MWMC’s workshop was started and on the recommendation of the chief internal auditor, a three-member committee comprising of the workshop, finance and operations managers has been constituted to inspect the record of oil filters and lubricants.
