Three men, including a property dealer, allegedly sexually assaulted a woman after luring her on the pretext of renting a house, while a 14-year-old girl made a noise and thwarted a rape attempt.
According to the police report, a resident of Dhadiwala stated in her complaint that that she was living in a rented house in Iqbal Nagar and the owners had asked her to vacate the house, which led her to visit property dealer Mian Kashif.
She said then suspect had called her to his office in the evening to show her a house.
When the complainant went to the office, two unknown people were also present there and Kashif said he would show her the house after work.
Later, Kashif and the two other men allegedly sexually assaulted the victim at gunpoint while their two accomplices kept watch, the complainant alleged.
Meanwhile, Abdul Rehman, allegedly tried to rape his former sister-in-law’s 14-year-old daughter after entering her house. The girl thwarted the attempted rape by making noise and drawing attention of local people.
Police registered cases of both incidents under the relevant provisions started efforts to arrest the suspects nominated by the complainants.
